Where do you need
sufficient grace?

Father, if You have called me after the pattern of Joseph, give me wisdom to discern seasons, solve complex problems, build systems, administer resources, and preserve lives.

If You have called me after the pattern of Daniel, make me excellent without pride, influential without corruption, learned without defilement, and spiritually discerning within powerful institutions.

If You have called me after the pattern of Jacob, establish my household, prosper the work of my hands, purify my ambition, and make my life fruitful across generations.

Deliver me from wanting elevation without responsibility, intelligence without service, wealth without covenant purpose, or leadership without love for people.

Reveal the people and problems my life is meant to answer. Give me the capacity, discipline, character, and grace required to carry them. Let my marketplace, my business, my engineering, my household, and my leadership become territories in which Your wisdom and glory are made visible. Amen.

Father, I do not want to manufacture spiritual intensity or call every ambition a burden. Purify my desires. Separate insecurity, comparison, vanity, and self-glory from the capacities You are developing in me.

Place upon my heart whatever You desire me to carry. Show me the people, problems, truths, and assignments for which You intend my life to become an answer. Give me compassion where I am indifferent, clarity where I am confused, and endurance where obedience will require a long process.

Do not merely make me impressive. Make me useful. Do not merely give me ideas. Give me responsibility, wisdom, preparation, and grace to execute. Teach me to recognize what is mine to carry and what is not. And when You place a burden upon me, give me grace not to abandon it. Amen.
