S12:9

A daily practice for the unfinished places

Where I am weak, Christ is strong.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.”

2 Corinthians 12:9

01 / THE PASSAGE

The power arrives inside the weakness.

Paul’s argument in 2 Corinthians 12:1–10 is not that weakness is good in itself. It is that weakness can become the place where self-reliance loosens and the power of Christ becomes unmistakable.

vv. 1–6

01

The heights

Paul could boast in extraordinary revelation, but refuses to build his identity on spiritual experience or human applause.

vv. 7–8

02

The thorn

A persistent limitation keeps him from self-exaltation. He asks three times for it to leave. Dependence includes honest, repeated prayer.

vv. 9–10

03

The answer

God does not first explain the thorn; He gives Himself. Sufficient grace turns the place of weakness into a dwelling place for Christ’s power.

So then—

I will not romanticize weakness, hide it, or make it my identity. I will bring it into the presence of Christ and receive enough grace for the next faithful step.

02 / TODAY’S PRACTICE

Grace is received,
then lived.

A short liturgy for the place that feels least sufficient today. Nothing to perform. Five honest minutes.

Step 1 of 4

Where do you most need sufficiency today?

Select the place you will bring honestly before God. Naming need is not unbelief; it is the end of pretending.

Today I need grace forJob search

I am unable by my own power to secure the right employment opportunity. I need God’s wisdom, favour, direction, endurance, preparation, and intervention in my job search.

03 / INFIRMITIES + DECLARATIONS

Bring each weakness
into its truth.

A CLOSING DECLARATION

I am not a creature of offence. I am not a creature of fear. I am not a creature of rejection.

I am not a creature of offence.I am not a creature of fear.I am not a creature of rejection.I am not a creature of confusion, shame, lust, poverty, anxiety, or despair.

My heart is straight. My thoughts are right. My steps are ordered. My hands are fruitful. My mind is enlightened. My body belongs to God.

God is my Saviour.Jesus Christ is my sufficiency. The Holy Ghost is my Helper.Grace is abounding toward me.

There is always a way, and Jesus is the Way.Whenever I call upon Him, He answers me.He knows the way that I take, and He guides me safely in the way.

All grace abounds toward me.I have all sufficiency in all things.I abound unto every good work.Grace attracts everything required for the fulfilment of my assignment.

God has not called me to anything for which He has not supplied capacity.I receive grace to labour.I receive grace to focus.I receive grace to learn.I receive grace to understand.I receive grace to endure.I receive grace to build.I receive grace to lead.I receive grace to live righteously.

I prepare my work and make it fit for the field.I do not waste my life.I do not waste my season.I do not faint in the day of adversity.I do not manufacture promises through haste, panic, compromise, or presumption.

The God who made the promise is able to perform it.What He has spoken, He will fulfil. What He has begun, He will complete. The story God began in 2017 did not end in 2025 because Microsoft said my time was finished.

Make me an answer by grace.Make my hands fruitful by grace.Make my mind skilful by grace.Make my work excellent by grace.Make my life useful by grace.Make me an employer, builder, leader, husband, father, friend, and servant by grace.

My present season is not sovereign over me.The economy is not sovereign over me.Rejection is not sovereign over me.My past failures are not sovereign over me.Grace is stronger than the famine.

Though my enemies rejoice over me, I will rise.Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. My morning will come. Those who wait upon the Lord renew their strength.I will mount up with wings like an eagle.I will run and not be weary.I will walk and not faint.

I lack nothing required to fulfil the will of God.No legitimate need in my life exists outside God’s knowledge, care, riches, and supply. He supplies seed to the sower and bread for food.He supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Where I am weak, Christ is strong.Where I lack wisdom, God teaches me.Where I lack strength, God empowers me.Where I lack provision, God supplies me.Where I lack opportunity, God makes a way.Where I lack understanding, God gives light.

I am what I am by the grace of God.I labour, yet not I, but the grace of God that is with me.The grace of God is sufficient for me.The power of Christ rests upon me.

Amen.
